Hard-to-Reverse Decorating Choices are an act of hatred against one’s fellow man. I believe that use of wallpaper beyond little self-adhesive doohickeys that come off easily is a profoundly anti-social act. It says I don’t care if the next person to live here will have to spend thousands of dollars or lose layers of skin in removing this, my taste is better than anyone else’s.
The same is true of painting wood fixtures such as cabinets. I will never inflict this again on another human creature.
