Playing Dress-Up

Nice cocktail dress in my size at mall is half-price at more than I usually spend for dresses these days but less than I’d expect for such full-figured fabulosity. I have no event in mind for it but the only cocktail ware I own is a somewhat matronly Jackie O suit. Should I buy the dress?
